Artist's Comments
Possibly one of my favorite animals to photograph ... this is my premier Model, the Dendroaspis viridis. They are always posing and curious snakes. This venomous, arboreal snake is native to west Africa and grows to a length of two meters. Its poison is a neurotoxin and its deadly to humans unless imidiate medical attention is provided. Although this is a very dangerous snake I think its a very beautiful one.
